TPS-946 is a solar trickle charger designed to trickle charge your 12V battery. The weather resistant frame is fitted with suction cups so that it can be fixed to the inside of your car windscreen or any other window, or wall mounted.

Connect directly to your battery using the crocodile clips or via your cigarette lighter socket to help prevent your battery from draining when not in use for prolonged periods of time. The charger will not damage or over charge your battery; similarly the blocking diode ensures that the charger cannot flatten your battery.

As long as there is sufficient sunlight available the charger will produce an electrical current to trickle charge your battery. The LED located in the edge of the case will flash blue whenever the battery is receiving charge. Ideal for maintaining your classic car battery or motorbike battery, when left un-driven for weeks or put away for the winter.

Note: In some makes of vehicle the cigarette lighter may not operate when the ignition is turned off. I these cases connect directly onto the battery using the alligator battery clams and cable provided.

The charger is designed to top-up battery charge as a result of natural drainage; it is not intended to recharge a battery that has fully discharged.
