What is the difference between the power as specified in VA and the power specified as Watts? The VA specifies the apparent power. Apparent power includes the reactive and distorsion power component which is not actually abosorbed by the load. The power specified in Watts is the real power absorbed by the load. The ratio between the apparent power and the real power is called the power factor (PF).My virus scanner detects a virus in the file Desktop.ini after installing the software. Is there a virus in the software? No, this is false alarm. Only a few virus scanners, like McAfee, report this file as virus infected. In reality, there is no virus present. The problem is known and a solution is being worked towards with the vendors of the affected anti virus products.
