DRC-60A is a 59.34W 13.8V din rail power supply with battery charger (UPS Function) from Mean Well. In addition to the primary output the DRC-60A features a secondary charger output making it ideal for a number of applications that rely on a backup power supply solution including security systems, emergency lighting, access systems, central monitoring systems and other DC UPS systems. The DRC-60A features universal AC input, battery low protection, cooling by free air convection and a number of other built-in protections.

This DIN rail mounted PSU provides a secure 12 volt line to power essential components within a system. I used it to ensure the safety of a automatic generator change over switch was maintained during the time when the mains fails and the generator runs up.
